Family Medicine w/OB (C-Section) Opportunity | Kinston, NC

UNC Health Complete Care, in partnership with UNC Health Lenoir, located in Kinston, NC, is currently seeking a Family Medicine Physician with OB/C-Section to join their team full-time.

Requirements:

• MD/DO - Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
• FM with OB C-Section/Surgical Fellowship required
• Prior Family Medicine with OB C-Section/Surgical practice experience
• Commitment to providing full-spectrum care including women's health, prenatal, perinatal, postpartum, pediatrics, and family medicine

Role within OB/GYN Practice Model

• Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians to provide comprehensive obstetric care
• Manage prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum patients in coordination with the OB/GYN team
• Perform C-sections and other Obstetric surgical procedures as part of shared call & delivery coverage
• Participate in labor and delivery management, including high-risk cases under OB/GYN supervision
• Provide continuity of care for mothers and newborns, integrating family medicine principles
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and case discussions to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support women's health services, including family planning and preventive care, within the OB framework
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice standards in obstetrics
• Excellent clinic staff and leadership support
• Quality mentorship program available with extensive availability from other physicians
